Subbaraju Brokerage is an agricultural commodity brokerage based in Challakere, Chitradurga district, Karnataka. We connect the people who grow, mill and manufacture agri commodities with the people who buy, distribute and retail them — across Karnataka and into neighbouring states.
Why Challakere
Challakere is one of central Karnataka’s most important agricultural trading towns. Its market yard has been a hub for the groundnut trade for generations — the town is often called the region’s “oil city” — and the surrounding dryland belt produces maize, ragi, pulses and more. Sitting on the highway between Bengaluru and North Karnataka, Challakere is a natural meeting point between the growing belts and the consuming markets.
Being physically present in this market matters. Rates in agri trade change daily — sometimes hourly — and a broker who walks the yard, sees the arrivals and talks to the traders knows the real price, not the rumoured one. That is the knowledge we put to work for every client.

We are based in Challakere and serve buyers and sellers across the whole of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu — from the mandis of central Karnataka to feed mills, processors and wholesale markets in all three states. We speak Kannada, English, Hindi and Telugu, so language is never a barrier to a deal.
